Yoga Gear
Although you probably could do yoga without great yoga gear, under a tree in your bare feet without a mat – why would you want to? Just think of all those cool yoga videos with people in wonderful yoga gear, by the ocean or in the mountains.
On the other hand, you can’t always carry that video around with you, but you can carry a Kindle! Take your favorite yoga book with you everywhere, inspirational words to keep your day going or just great educatinal books on everything from the right pose to the right food. Kindles have changed the way we organize our life, here are just a few to help you with yours and your daily practice.
If you travel and still want to do your daily yoga practice, there is some great little takealong yoga gear that will help you keep your routine and not take up space in your carry-on bag. This includes a product that I have been seeing recently called YogaToes. I always have a hard time staying in Tree Pose, and my teacher recommeded these to me.
There are several sites with beautifully designed tee shirts that will inspire you, such as the beautiful ones designed by yoga teacher Thea on her site. This is her own designed "Yoga Body Soul" T-shirt, modeled by one of her yoga students. Check out this shirt, along with her other designs, essential oils, hula hoops and more at her site.

Here are some other wonderful yoga-themed t-shirts and shirts that will only make your practice more beautiful.
And, of course, you want to have a variety of great yoga pants when you are deep in your practice.
Finally- although yoga is generally done barefoot, there are a variety of yoga-inspired shoes that support your posture both when you are walking after yoga or during your practice.
